Malaysian Embassy in Vienna, Austria

The Embassy of Malaysia in Vienna was established in 1974. Since 1977, when several of the United Nations agencies established their headquarters in Vienna, the Embassy also assumed a multilateral role and responsibility as the Permanent Mission of Malaysia to the United Nations Offices at Vienna (UNOV) as well as the other international organisations in Vienna.

The Embassy is also accredited to the Slovak Republic. In an effort to bring its bilateral relations with Slovakia to a higher level.

Only a few Malaysian Missions overseas are given the authority to issue travelling documents / passport to Malaysians abroad. For missions without the authority, applications can still be made through Malaysian Mission who would then submit the application to the Immigration Department of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur.
