The Embassy
of Malaysia in Algiers was established on April 2001 with the aim of
strengthening its political, economic and social-cultural links with The
People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria. The Embassy was first situated at
the Sofitel Hotel before moving to a building in Ben Aknoun, Algiers.
On February 2006, the Embassy then moved to a new building in Chemin Poirson,
El-Biar. Previously, on October 2009, the Embassy has moved to a new office
in Hydra, Algiers.
Algeria established its Embassy in Kuala Lumpur in 1993.
Renewal of
Passports
Malaysian in Algeria may renew their passports through the Embassy.
